What is City Clue?
City Clue is a self-guided walking game for adults 21+ on the Las Vegas Strip, played on your phone, for $14.99 per player. Your in-app host Bruce guides you through 13 stops from The Cosmopolitan in about 90 minutes (about 2.7 miles (4.3 km)), with clues, trivia and picture challenges for points.
City Clue is made by Rift Studios, a DBA of Arcade of Satoshi LLC.
How City Clue works
- Book your players. Pick a date and how many people are playing. Each player needs their own $14.99 ticket.
- Get your access codes by email. Every player gets a personal access code right after booking. The email has the link to start.
- Start at The Cosmopolitan. On your date, start any time outside The Cosmopolitan's main Strip entrance (3708 S Las Vegas Blvd). A live map on your phone guides you stop to stop. You finish on a pedestrian bridge with The Cosmopolitan in sight.
What's included
- 13 stops on the Strip's most famous stretch, including The Cosmopolitan, Paris Las Vegas & the Eiffel Tower, Grand Bazaar Shops, the Caesars Palace area, the former Mirage site (future Hard Rock), The Venetian, The LINQ Promenade, the High Roller and the Flamingo
- Challenges at every stop: hunt for details, match the picture, true or false, odd one out and rapid trivia
- Stories between stops: Vegas history, mob lore, celebrity gossip and strange facts
- Points for every answer, plus hints if you're stuck (they cost you)
- A personal access code for each player. It plays in your phone's browser, with no app-store download.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your chosen date, if the ticket hasn't been used. Access codes do not expire.
Not included: drinks, gambling, show tickets, meals, transportation or casino entry. You don't have to drink or gamble.
Who City Clue is for
- Adults 21+ who want a ready-made plan for a group night, a bachelor/ette weekend, a date or a solo wander
- Visitors who want to see the Strip on their own schedule: pick any day, start any time, at their own pace
- Groups who like a bit of competition: play solo or as a team
Who it's not for
- Anyone under 21. Every player must be 21 or older.
- People who want a live, in-person tour guide. Bruce is an in-app host. It is not a live guided tour.
- Anyone looking for Downtown Las Vegas or Fremont Street. City Clue is on the Strip.
- Anyone who needs a certified wheelchair-accessible route. The route is mostly flat sidewalks and pedestrian bridges with elevators or escalators at major crossings, but it hasn't been certified as wheelchair accessible.
How is City Clue different from other Las Vegas scavenger hunts?
- It's on the Las Vegas Strip, not Downtown or Fremont Street. It starts at The Cosmopolitan (3708 S Las Vegas Blvd).
- It's not an escape room. It's a walking game with stops, challenges and points. A couple of stops are inside public areas of casinos, hotels and shops.
- It's not Escapely or Operation City Quest. City Clue is a separate game from Rift Studios, with its own route, price ($14.99 per player) and booking at cityclue.site.
- Compared with app hunts like Questo and Let's Roam: City Clue is the same self-guided, play-at-your-pace idea, with these specifics: one Strip route with 13 stops, about 2.7 miles (4.3 km), about 90 minutes, self-guided, a comedian host character (Bruce), adults 21+ only, and it plays in your phone's browser with no app-store download.
